Referee Clinic

Hello coaches, families and friends, please pass the following information along to the parents and any-
one else who may be willing to help make sure the kids in AYSO have enough referees.

The next referee class will be: August 17th, 2019
Companion Course to the Online Basic Referee Training
Date: Saturday August 17th
Location: Waimea Middle School Stem Classroom
The online portion of the class must be taken before coming to this class (instructions below.)
As of now, this is the last scheduled referee training opportunity for this fall season. Remember, all

U10, U12 and U14 teams are required to assemble a team of (3) certified referees to cover referee as-
signments throughout the season. Other teams will be refereeing your children’s games. Are you going

to leave their children hanging with no referees on game day? AYSO is an all volunteer organization and
without your help, we won’t have enough referees. With your help, we can spread the responsibility
out in the North Hawaii soccer community. “Many hands make light work.” Thanks in advance for your
support.
If you are going to take the online training and come to the class:
Step 1: Take the online training....
Go to www.ayso.org
Select "Training"
Select "Online Training"
Enter your AYSO ID Number and Last Name (you can scroll down on this page for instructions on how
to look up your AYSO ID number if you don't know it or how to get one if you've never signed up)
Once you've logged in successfully, select "Referee Training" and follow the instructions. The online
training takes 2-3 hours depending on whether or not you already have some familiarity with soccer
rules.
Step 2: Contact Ref Harold and let him know you’re coming:

[email protected] or after 4pm (808) 938-9452 ... we need to know if anyone is coming and some-
times times and locations change ... if you don’t RSVP, you might and up at the wrong time and/or

place.
Step 3: come to the companion course....
